Using mechanical release
1. Unscrew locking screw
2. Operate the mechanical release through the threaded bore of the locking
screw (e.g. with a metal rod ∅ 3 mm)
¨ The safety device can be opened
The locking screw must be screwed back in and sealed after use (for example
with sealing lacquer).
On devices with monitoring output OUT, this is switched off; OUT D can assume
an undefined state. Open the safety door and close it again after resetting the
mechanical release. The device will then operate normally again.
Changing the approach direction
1. Remove the screws from the safety switch
2. Set the required direction
3. Tighten the screws with a torque of 1.5 Nm.
