Introduction
This Operator’s Manual describes how to use the cut device for fanfold forms. This
manual covers only the modifications or extensions as required in addition to the
standard Quick Start Guide and the User Guide. These are:
„ Preparing the printer
„ Installing the cut device
„ Control panel operation
„ MTPL Sequence for controlling the cut device
„ Technical data
„ Paper specifications
The generally applicable functions of your printer are described in detail in the
standard Quick Start Guide and the User Guide. These manuals tell you how to
„ unpack the printer
„ insert the interface module
„ insert the ribbon cassette
„ connect the printer to the power outlet
„ connect the printer to the computer
„ load paper into the first tractor or second tractor
„ use the printer Setup Menu
„ find out which emulations and character sets are available
„ find out what accessories are available
Your printer and its control panel may have a different appearance than shown in
this manual. However, the procedures described are the same.
