3 Safety
3.1 Intended use
The μPlate G0.5 is designed for use in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology
research laboratories. The μPlate G0.5 is exclusively intended for use indoors. The μPlate
G0.5 is designed as an auxiliary aid of the PlateReader AF2200 for laboratory
measurements for quantifying small nucleic acid volumes (2 μL) in the absorbance mode.
3.2 User profile
The device and accessories may only be operated by trained and skilled personnel.
Before using the device, read the operating manual carefully and familiarize yourself with
the device's mode of operation.
3.3 Warnings for intended use
3.3.1 Personal injury
WARNING! Damage to health from toxic, radioactive or aggressive chemicals
as well as infectious liquids and pathogenic germs.

Observe the national regulations for handling these substances, the biological
security level of your laboratory, the material safety data sheets and the
manufacturer's application notes.

Wear personal protective equipment.

