Replacement Top (Part # 987xx)

Step 4: Snap the rear five snaps on the top to the snaps on the rear bow. (Fig E)
Step 5:
Attach and hook the rear plastic corner on the top onto the corners of the vehicle. (Fig F)

Step 6:
Pull the side window retainer bar outward away from vehicle. Separate the Velcro around the
window on the top. Insert the front part of the retainer bar into the window and secure with
the Velcro. Then proceed to fit the corner of the retainer into the corner of the window and then
slide the bottom portion of the retainer bar into the window and secure with the Velcro (Fig G)
Note: Use caution when pulling the retainer bar outward in order not to break the factory clip
its secured into. There is also a web strap on the inside that needs to be disconnected.

The stop on the inside edge of the
plastic piece on the top hooks around
the corner retainer on the vehicle.
