4-Door Short Bed
NOTE: Carefully read entire instructions thoroughly before attempting to install this part.
It is recommended to have some additional help while installing these bars.
Parts Included Qty Tools Required
5/16” x 2” 12 Metal Punch and Hammer
5/16” Flat Washer 12 Drill with 3/8” bit
5/16” Lock Washer 12 ½” Ratchet with socket or Wrench

STEP 1: Identify the driver and passenger side bars. (The shorter end goes towards the front of the vehicle.
STEP 2: Hold up each end to the underside of the truck. The bracket goes behind the pinch-weld just below
the door. The spacer on the bracket butts up against the backside of the pinch-weld.
Make sure the leading edge of the bar is approximately ¾” back from the front wheel well opening.
If you have over-sized tires you may want to move the bar up to 1 ½” back for tire clearance.
STEP 4: Take a marker and mark on the outside of the pinch-weld so when the holes are drilled they will
line up with the holes in the brackets. Make sure not to move the bar while marking locations. The
marks must align perfectly to the spacer on the bracket.
