Using manual controls on your monitor
You use the buttons and knobs on the front of your monitor to adjust the brightness and
contrast, and to control the On-Screen Display.
The following table describes the function of each control.
Control
Function
On-Screen Display
Use this button to turn on the On-Screen Display and enter choices.
Enter button
On-Screen Display
Use this knob to select (highlight) choices and adjust levels in the
Select/Adjust knob
On-Screen Display.
Brightness control
Use this knob to increase or decrease the brightness of the picture.
Contrast control
Use this knob to increase or decrease the contrast of the picture.
Power button
Use this button to turn the monitor on or off.
Power indicator
A green light indicates the monitor is on. An amber light indicates the
power-saving mode. Move your mouse or press a key on the keyboard
to return the monitor to its normal display operation.
