Connecting the monitor video cable
After you plug in the monitor power cord, connect the monitor video cable to
the computer’s monitor video port.
To connect the monitor video cable, follow these steps:
1 Attach the monitor video cable to the monitor so that it appears as shown in the
illustration.
On some monitors, the cable is already attached.
2 Attach the monitor video cable to the monitor video port on the back of the computer so
that it appears as shown in the illustration.
If your monitor has a microphone or speakers, you may need to connect
additional cables. See the documentation that came with the monitor.
