NetBoot Server Worksheet
Information Needed for Each Ethernet Port
The number of ports you have depends on the configuration of your server.
Installing and Setting Up NetBoot Server Software
If you have not read the section “Planning Your Network” on page 21 and filled out the
NetBoot Server Worksheet, above, you should do so now before you proceed. You need to
have this information handy when you use the NetBoot Server Setup Assistant.
If NetBoot Server Software Is Already Installed on Your Server
If you purchased your software with a server, the NetBoot server software is already installed
on your server. You need only to set up the software by using the NetBoot Server Setup
Assistant.
If the NetBoot Server Setup Assistant isn’t already open, follow these steps to open it:

Log in to the Mac OS X Server with the user name “Administrator.”
Use the Administrator password you set up when you used the Mac OS X Server Setup
Assistant.

Double-click Assistant.app in the /System/Administration directory.

When the Assistants window opens, double-click NetBoot Server Setup Assistant.
