I. High LLimit S
Switch
A manually resetable temperature
activated switch. Its purpose is as
a safety device wired into the
control system to sense when an
overheat condition occurs, either
at the heat chamber or blower
outlet. The switch “opens” the
electrical circuit to the gas control
thereby shutting off gas flow. The
switch has a button located in its
center that will need to be pushed
in to reset the contacts if the
contacts open due to an overheat
condition.
J. Manifold
Series of nipples or elbows that
convey the gas from the outlet of
the gas control valve to the burner
orifice.
K. Motor
An electrically powered device,
located in the air housing, in
conjunction with the fan wheel to
circulate air in the confinement
area.
L. Pilot B
Burner B
Bracket A small gas burner used to direct
flame for igniting gas at the main
burner and to heat the
thermocouple.
M. Pilot Orifice
Metering device used to supply gas
for the dual purpose of igniting the
main burner and heating the
thermocouple.
