Booster Pump
Hale booster pumps offer the added dimension of
low volume and high pressure for use with the
midship pumps. The booster is ideal for high
pressure, hose reel operation.
As shown in figure 1-27, the booster pump is
designed for direct mounting at the accessory port
of the Hale "L" series gearbox. The booster pump
is driven by the gearbox intermediate gear to
provide a positive drive. Water is directed to the
booster pump through a pre-piped supply hose.
