Config Page
Use the Configuration page to set the Profile, Mode, SSID and Channel,
and to view Link Quality as well.
Click Start > Settings > System > Wireless LAN Utility > Config

Profile
can select a profile. You can set up profile at the “Profile
Wizard”.

Mode:
Use the Mode pull-down menu to select the operating mode.
■
Infrastructure – can connect to an access point or a network
connected to an access point.
■
802.11 Ad Hoc – This mode allows Wireless LAN Module to form
its own local network where adaptors communicate peer-to-peer
without Access Points using a shared SSID.

SSID:
Service Set Identifier is a group name given to the groups that
form the wireless LAN network, and up to 32 single-byte English
characters and symbols may be used. With the default setting “ANY”,
it will automatically connect to the highest performance access point
among those it was able to scan.
