Press to select an advanced function.
2 BAND button
Press to return to normal display.
3 SOURCE button
Press to select a source.
4 ENTERTAINMENT button
Press to change to the entertainment dis-
play.
5 12 buttons
Press to change between letters or number/
symbol input.
6 6 button
Press to turn on the demonstration mode.
7 c/d buttons
Press to move the cursor in the display to
the next position.
8 a/b buttons
Press to select letters and numbers.
Using the demonstration
Demonstration can be shown in the display
when the unit is off.
1 Press SOURCE to turn off the unit.
Press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns
off.
2 Press 6 to start the demonstration.
# The demonstration can be cancelled by
pressing 6 again.
Using different
entertainment displays
You can enjoy entertainment displays while lis-
tening to each sound source.
! These are different ways of displaying the
spectrum and do not affect sound output.

Press ENTERTAINMENT.
Each time you press ENTERTAINMENT the
display changes in the following order:
Entertainment mode 1 (default)Spectrum
analyzerLevel indicatorEntertainment
mode 2Entertainment mode 3Non-move

Cellular telephone muting
Sound from this unit is muted automatically
when a call is made or received using a con-
nected cellular telephone.
! The sound is turned off, MUTE is displayed
and no audio adjustments, except volume
control, are possible. Operation returns to nor-
mal when the phone call is ended.
