To request a server certificate from an external
certification authority
In order to request a server certificate from an external certification
authority, CSR (certificate signing request) data created from the server
certificate held by the PageScope Net Care server must be submitted to
the certification authority certifying the SSL transmission, and the
approved server certificate issued by the certification authority must be
installed on the PageScope Net Care server.
• When transmitting with SSL on a closed network, a server
certificate from an external certification authority is not required
to guarantee server safety.
If it is necessary to request a server certificate from an external
certification authority, refer to “To request a server certificate
from an external certification authority” (p. 79), and make the
request.
