• Server Information Notification :
Selecting this option enables e-mail receipt of
the following information by the
administrator.
- Notification when the total number of
devices being managed exceeds 250
- Notification when an unsupported device is
detected
• Command Mail Support :
If this check box is selected, a user can
receive a device list, status report, or other
information by sending a command mail to a
server.
See “Command Mail Syntax” (p. 74) for
more information.
• Counter Reader : Enables/disables the Counter Reader
function. If this check box is selected, this
server periodically sends an e-mail to the
appropriate device, requesting counter
information. See “10 Obtaining and Viewing
Device Counter Information” (p. 117) for
more information.
• Job Log Viewer : Enables/disables the Job Log Viewer
function. If this check box is selected, this
server sets the appropriate device to
periodically send job history information by
e-mail. See “9 Obtaining and Viewing Device
Job History Data” (p. 105) for more
information.
2. After everything is the way you want, click the Apply button. To
cancel the operation, click the Cancel button instead of Apply .
