Caution
: When remov-
ing the fan, be careful
that you don’t knock the
heat sink or damage the
DRAM chips on the logic
board.
Grasp the fan and gently
pull down and out on the
fan to release it from the
metal drive chassis.
Note
: The fan bracket has
five plastic tabs un-
derneath that attach to a
metal slot in the drive
chassis. You may need to
wiggle the fan slightly
to release the tabs.
