Integrating a Composite/RGB source Into a Composite/YC Switcher
It is sometimes necessary for pre-edit purposes, to switch a component video source alongside
composite or Y/C sources. Some but not all of the component video sources include a composite
or a Y/C output. In order to perform the above-mentioned task, a video encoder is needed in
order to convert either YUV or RGB signals to composite and Y/C signals, as shown in Figure
11.
