6.1 DIP-switch Settings
By default, all the DIP-switches are set to OFF.

Setting the Machine ID DIP-switches
The MACHINE ID determines the position of a VS-81HDxl unit, specifying
which VS-81HDxl unit is being controlled when several VS-81HDxl units
connect to a PC or serial controller. Set the Machine number on a VS-81HDxl
unit via MACHINE ID DIP-switches 1, 2, 3 and 4, according to
When using a standalone VS-81HDxl unit, set the Machine ID to 1. When
connecting more than one VS-81HDxl unit, set the first machine (the Master)
that is closest to the PC, as Machine ID 1 (the DIP-switches are set to OFF).
