Status quo provides you with a safety net in the event the input data is interrupted. The input data
could be interrupted, for example, if the control console were inadvertently turned off. With the
status quo function enabled, your
DMX Ultimate Converter
will hold the last levels received before
the data was interrupted. Those levels are held for a duration you specify. If the incoming data is
not restored at the end of the status quo duration, the
DMX Ultimate Converter
will turn off its
output.
The status quo current setting is shown when the status quo option is selected. To change the
current setting, press OK. The status quo hold time is user selectable from 2 seconds up to 98
minutes. In addition, an infinite hold is available (NO END).
