OPERATION
Installation Repeater—Operation and Maintenance
Model 4808
Pathway eDIN Installation Repeaters require
very little maintenance. Enclosures exteriors
should be inspected annually for physical dam-
age from impacts or liquids. Steps should be
taken, if necessary, to prevent liquids from con-
tacting the enclosure in future.
Enclosure interiors should be inspected
annually for loose wires and connections, and
for debris. Connections should only be tight-
ened if necessary. Debris should be gently re-
moved from the interior and its source deter-
mined.
WARNING
All DMX input/output ports must be connected
to low-voltage data lines only. Do not connect
high voltage sources to these connectors or
serious damage and possible injury will occur.
Once a Pathway eDIN Installation Repeater is
completely and properly installed, its operation
is fully transparent to the end user. No on-going
or periodic user action is required.
In the event of power loss, an eDIN Installation
Repeater will resume full normal operations
once power is restored, without any user action
or intervention necessary.
