Setting Brightness & Contrast/Hue & Saturation/
Sharpness
Apply effects by adjusting on each setting screen.
1. Select [Brightness & Contrast], [Hue &
Saturation], or [Sharpness] from
[Background] menu.
The setting screen for the appropriate effect will be
displayed.
2. Set the effect.
Set the effect by moving the slider. ( @ 101 )
• Make the setting while comparing the original image
with the image in process on the Preview screen.
• To cancel the setting, click [Cancel].
• To reflect the settings on the background without
closing the effect setting screen, click [Apply].
3. Click [OK].
The settings will be applied and the setting screen will
be closed.
∫ About the setting of effects
When setting Brightness & Contrast
1 In , select a colour to be adjusted.
• If you select all colours, settings will be applied to
all the colours equally.
2 In , set a desired colour tone by dragging each
slider.
• You may directly input a numeric value.
: This increases the brightness as the slider
moves closer to the right end.
: This increases the contrast as the slider moves
closer to the right end.
: This adjusts the brightness of medium-bright
areas of the image.
