Item Setting Description
Moving Image x MPEG Movie / Clip Motion /
Multi Burst
Selects the shooting mode (pages 49, 51, 68).
Smart Zoom x On / Off Selects whether to use the smart zoom (page 25).
Date/Time Day&Time / Date / x Off Selects whether to insert the date and time into the image (page 31). When shooting
movies, or images recorded in Clip Motion/Multi Burst modes, the date and time
cannot be inserted in the image. Also, the date and time will not be displayed when
shooting. The date and time will be displayed when the image is played back.
Red Eye Reduction On / x Off Reduces the red-eye phenomenon when using a flash (page 29).
AF Illuminator x Auto / Off Selects whether to emit an AF assist light in the dark. Helps when it is hard to focus
on the subject under dark lighting (page 29).
Item Setting Description
Format OK / Cancel Formats the “Memory Stick.” Note that formatting erases all data on a “Memory Stick,” including even
protected images (page 40).
File Number x Series
Reset
– Assigns numbers to files in sequence even if the “Memory Stick” is changed or the recording folder
is changed.
– Resets the file numbering and starts from 0001 each time the folder is changed. (When the recording
folder contains a file, a number one higher than the largest number is assigned.)
Create REC.
Folder OK / Cancel Creates a folder for recording images (page 42).
Set the mode selector to SET UP. The SET
UP screen appears.
