Telephone Operation
Call forward and call transfer
Call forward
During a conversation, you can forward the call to the
telephone base from the cordless handset, or from the
cordless handset to the telephone base.
• On the cordless handset: Press
INT/DELETE
to page
the base. The
INTERCOM/CID DELETE
key must be
pressed at the base to establish communication
between the handset and the base, then the outside
call can be answered at the base by lifting the corded
handset or pressing
SPEAKER
. Then the call can be
hung up at the cordless handset.
• At the base: Press
INTERCOM/CID DEL
to page the
cordless handset. At the cordless handset, press
INTERCOM/CID DELETE
to answer the intercom,
then press
PHONE
. You can then hang up the call at
the base.
Call transfer
If you prefer, you can place a call on hold, then speak to
the person on the other set before transferring the call.
• On the cordless handset: Press
HOLD
, then
INT/DELETE
to page the base. The person at the
base can press
INTERCOM/CID DEL
to answer your
page, and you can talk to each other. You can press
OFF/CLEAR
on the handset (or
INTERCOM/CID DEL
at the base) to end the intercom call. Press
SPEAK-
ER
at the base to take the outside call.
• At the base: Press
HOLD
, then
INTERCOM/CID DEL
to page the cordless handset. The person on the
handset can press
INT/DELETE
to answer your page,
and you can talk to each other. Press
INT/DELETE
again (or
OFF/CLEAR
at the handset) to end the
intercom call. Press
PHONE/FLASH
on the handset to
take the outside call.
NOTE: You can also press
HOLD before starting to forward or
transfer a call.
