Sound Settings

Specify sound settings.

Press the d button M z (Setup menu) (A 94) M i Sound settings

Button sound

Turn the button sound

On or Off. When On (default setting) is selected, a beep

will sound once when operations are completed successfully, twice when the
focus has been locked, and three times when an error is detected, and Start-up
sound will also play when the camera is turned on.

Shutter sound

Choose shutter sound from

On (default setting) or Off.

Note that even when set to

On, the shutter sound will not be heard in the

following situations.
• When Continuous is set to Continuous, BSS, or Multi-shot 16
• When scene mode is set to Museum
• When using sport continuous
