Powering on an AT-MC13 Media Converter
To apply power to an AT-MC13 media converter, perform the following
steps:
1. Plug the AC/DC power adapter into an appropriate AC power outlet
and insert the power plug into the DC receptacle located on the back
of the unit, as shown in Figure 10.
Note
This step does not apply if you installed the unit in an AT-MCR1 or
AT-MCR12 chassis.

2. Plug the AC/DC adapter to a power outlet. Refer to “Technical
Specifications” on page 37 for power requirements.
Warning
Power cord is used as a disconnection device: To de-energize
equipment, disconnect the power cord.

3. Verify that the PWR LED on the front of the unit is green. If the PWR
LED is OFF, refer to “Troubleshooting” on page 33.
The media converter is now ready for use.
