Mounting the AT-RPS3104 in a Rack
The AT-RPS3104 system can be installed on a table or in a standard
19-inch rack. This section contains the instructions for mounting the
system in a rack.
Note
The AT-RPS3104 system must be installed close to the
AT-8524POE switches. Allied Telesyn recommends installing the
redundant power supply directly above or below the switches or in
a directly adjacent rack.
To install the AT-RPS3104 redundant power supply system in a rack,
perform the following procedure:
1. When installing the unit in a rack, you can remove the rubber feet
from the bottom of the unit. To remove the feet, do the following.
Otherwise, go to Step 2.
a. Place the unit upside down on a level, secure surface.
b. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the snap-on feet from the
bottom of the power supply (see Figure 2).

c. Turn the power supply over.
