2.4 Wiring the Fault Alarm Contact
The fault alarm contacts are in the middle of the terminal block connector as the picture shows below. Inserting the
wires, it will detect the fault status which the power is failure or port link failure (for managed model) and form an
open circuit.

1. Insert the wires into the fault alarm contacts (N. 3 and 4)
Note: The wire gauge for the terminal block should be in the range between 12~ 24 AWG.
2.5 LED Indicators
The LEDs located on the front panel display the power status and network status of the Industrial Media Converter.
Each of them has its own specific meaning as defined in Table 2-1.
