Pulse Modulation On/Off Ratio
This automated test verifies the pulse modulation on/off ratio. The signal generator is configured for an
external pulse input. The spectrum analyzer measures the RF output power with and without the external
pulse applied. The power difference is the on/off ratio.
Recommended Equipment
• Agilent 8563EC Option 001 spectrum analyzer
• Agilent 8491A/B Option 010 fixed attenuator (10 dB)
• Agilent 33120A function generator
