Without a SIM car d, you can only make an emergency call
with the phone. Nor mal cell phone service is not available.
1. Touch Phone.
2. Enter th e emergency number (example: 911) and then
touch Call .
3. Complete your call. During this type of call, you will
ha ve access to the Speaker mode, Keypad, and End
Call feat ures.
Note: Th is mode can drain your battery power more rapidly
than norm al calling mode.
Making Emergency Calls
If you do not have a SIM card installed the first time you turn
on the phone, the Insert SIM card to make calls message
displays and an animated tutorial shows you how to install
the SIM card.
Making an Emergency Call without a SIM Card
1. Touch Emer gency call from the onscreen display to
make an eme rgency call.
2. Enter 9-1-1 and touch Call. Complete your call.
During t his type of call, you will have access to the
Speake r mode, Keypad, and End Call features.
3. Touch End call to exit this calling mode.
Making an Emergency Call with a SIM Card
The Emergency calling mode makes redialing an emergency
number a 1-touch process. Before you can resume normal
calling operations, you should first exit this mode.
