Section 4: Call Functions
This section describes how to make or answer a call. It also
includes the features and functionality associated with
making or answering a call.
Making a Call
1. From a Home screen, touch Phone and enter the
number you want to dial.
For more information, refer to “Call” on page 160.
2. Touch Call to make the call.
Displaying Your Phone Number
Note: When you activate the Auto redial option in the Call
settings, the phone automatically redials up to 10 times
when the person does not answer the call or is already
on the phone. For more information, see Auto redial on
page 162.
� From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings
➔ More ➔ About device ➔ Status.
Your phone n umber disp lays in the My phone number
field.
Phone Making an International Call
Use the Phone a pp to access the phone Keypad, Recent
calls, Favorite s, and Contacts.
1. Touch Phone, then touch and hold 0 + .
The + character appears.
There are two w a ys to access Phone: 2. Use the onscreen keypad to enter the country code,
area code, and phone number. � From a H ome screen or Apps, touch Phone.

From a Home screen, touch Contacts ➔
Phone .
• If you make a mistake, touch until the desired
numbers ha ve been deleted. Touch and hold to
erase the entire string of num bers.
