Setup menu
In this menu, you can set up and adjust basic settings. You can use
the setup menu in all camera modes except Voice Recording mode.
Ê The items indicated by * are default settings.
Ä Menus are subject to change without prior notice.

You can select whether function descriptions
appear on the LCD screen in Recording
mode.
- Function Description sub-menus
[Off] : The function description
does not appear.
[On]* : The name and description of the
function appears.

Setting the Grid Line
You can select the image that appears on the LCD screen fi rst
whenever the you turn on the camera.
- Sub menus : [Off]*, [Logo], [User Image]
- To use a saved image as the start-up
image, run [Start Image] in the [Resize]
menu while in Play mode. (Page 84)
- The start-up image will not be deleted by
[Delete] or [Format] functions.
- The User images will be deleted by
[Reset] function.
