8 Switching on and off
Before switching on:
• examine the markings to make sure the supplied material corresponds with the required specifications, as
described in the section Checking the markings.
• make sure the safety fuse is intact
• make sure that the receiver and the other components of the system are closed and there is therefore no
possibility of direct contact with live parts.
• make sure that all parts are fastened down firmly and safely
• the power supply cables should not hamper normal operations on the part of the installer technician or pan &
tilt movements
• make sure the power source and connecting cables are able to handle the system’s power consumption
