• On the day that daylight savings time starts, a task scheduled for the skipped time period (for
example, from 2:00 to 2:59) is executed one hour later. For example, a task scheduled for
2:30AM on that day is executed at 3:30AM.
• When daylight savings time ends, an overlapping time period occurs and a task scheduled
for that time is executed once. For example, if a task is scheduled for 1:30AM, the task is only
executed for the first instance of 1:30AM and not the second (when the time change occurs).
For best results, do not use the Change Pair Status Wizard or Edit Task dialog box to schedule a
task that will be executed when the system time will be adjusted for daylight savings time.
