Configuration Options
SET_SECURITY
Type SET_SECURITY to enable or disable security for the LMM GUI.
The SET_SECURITY command in the configuration to set security either off or on for
the GUI. The SET_SECURITY command is set to either Y/N, see above.
YES means you want security enabled. A guardian logon will be required to access
the GUI and the LMM password will be required to MOUNT/DISMOUNT/LABEL and
use the commands on the SERVICES tab.
NO means it works with the normal security. No logon needed to access the GUI,
MOUNT/DISMOUNT or label tapes. The LMM password would still be needed on the
Services tab.
When the GUI is accessed with SECURITY enabled, you will receive the following box
that requires a valid guardian logon:
