• Preview X(Y): total number of the operations displayed in the Preview list (X) and the type
of operation (Y)
• Pop-up menu (Preview list in the XP Snapshot window)
If you select and right-click the operations in the Preview list, the following pop-up menu will be
displayed.

Command Function
Delete
Cancels the selected operation and deletes the operation from the Preview list in the XP
Snapshot window.
Error Detail
Displays the error message dialog box, which displays the error code and message.

• Apply button
Applies the operations displayed in the Preview list to the Storage system. If the specified
operations complete successfully, the Preview list will be cleared. If an error occurs during an
operation, the failed operation will remain in the Preview list. Details of the error (error code and
message) are displayed on the error dialog box. For details about the list of the error code of XP
Snapshot, see the HP StorageWorks XP24000 Remote Web Console Error Codes.
• Cancel button
Cancels all the operations set in the Preview list.
Pool Window
The Pool window allows you to create or delete pools. You can also initialize the V-VOL
management area or the pool management block by using the Pool window. For details, see
“ Performing XP Snapshot Operations ” on page 51.
