4 Using the XP Snapshot GUI
XP Snapshot uses the windows displayed by clicking the Remote Web Console’s starting menu of Business
Copy and LUN Expansion (LUSE) / Virtual LVI/LUN (VLL). However, note that XP Snapshot uses only the
Pair Operation window, the History window, and the XP Snapshot window among the Business Copy
windows. Among LUN Expansion (LUSE) / Virtual LVI/LUN (VLL) windows, XP Snapshot uses only the
Pool window and the V-VOL window.
This chapter describes the items displayed on these five windows. As for other dialog boxes that will be
displayed by selecting pop-up menu commands, see “ Performing XP Snapshot Operations ” on page 51.

Note: Though Business Copy’s Pair Operation window displays information about both Business Copy
and XP Snapshot pairs, this section only explains the items related to the XP Snapshot pairs. For details
about the items related to the Business Copy pairs, see the HP StorageWorks XP24000 Business Copy
Software User’s Guide.
Business Copy’s Pair Operation window displays the following items.
• Display Filter button
Displays the Display Filter dialog box ( Figure 12 on page 52) where you can filter the volumes
displayed in the volume list.
• Tree (the area in the left of the window)
