Configuring iSCSI boot support
Setting up a basic iSCSI boot configuration
This section provides an overview on how to set up a basic boot configuration.
For more detailed information on setting up an iSCSI initiator and adding an iSCSI target, see
"Configuring and managing the iSCSI Initiator (on page
)" and "Configuring and managing iSCSI
)."
1.
Log into HP NC-Series ServerEngines iSCSISelect by pressing Ctrl+S when prompted.
2.
From the iSCSI Configuration menu, set the initiator name.
3.
Verify the Boot Support value is Enabled.
4.
Tab to Save and press Enter to save your initiator name.
5.
Tab to Controller Configuration then press Enter to display the Controller Selection menu.
