Configuration data is erased for both ports on the selected controller. The Initiator Name and Boot
support are global for all HP NC-Series ServerEngines adapters in the system.
If you have more than one adapter and you erase the configuration on the first adapter, the Erase
Configuration resets the initiator name and boot support back to their default values.
If you perform an Erase Configuration on the second adapter, the default values are only reset for the
second adapter and are not reset globally on both adapters.
1. From the Controller Configuration menu, select Erase Configuration and press Enter.
2. When prompted to erase the current configuration, press Y.
3. When cautioned that any existing configurations will be removed permanently, press Y.
When your controller configuration is erased, the Controller Configuration menu displays.
