How to configure BMC settings

1.

Create a “Run As Account” containing the iLO username and password.

2.

Right-click on the server in the Host list, and then select Properties.

3.

Select Hardware.

4.

Select BMC Settings.

5.

Check This physical computer is configured for out of band (OOB) management.

6.

Set Power management configuration provider: to Intelligent Platform Management Interface
(IPMI).

7.

Set BMC address: to the iLO’s IP address.

8.

Set Run As Account: to the account created in step 1.
