5 Troubleshooting
If an error occurs with LUN Security XP Extension, the Error Detail pane ( Figure 11 ) displays error
locations and messages. The Error Detail pane does not include Command View XP or XP Remote Web
Console errors.

Problem Solution
You cannot find certain logical
volumes in the volume list on the
LUN Security XP Extension pane.
If logical volumes are combined into a LUSE volume, the volume list displays
only the top LDEV of the combined volumes. To view all logical volumes
combined into a LUSE volume, see ” Viewing a list of logical volumes
combined into a LUSE volume ” on page 29.
The OFF -> ON or ON -> OFF
button to the right of Expiration
Lock is unavailable.
Nothing happens when you click
the button.
You have made changes in the LUN Security XP Extension pane, but the
changes have not been applied to the array.
The changes you made are displayed in blue italics. If you cannot find the
changes, scroll up and down in the volume list. If you still cannot find the
changes, select another CU from the tree and scroll up and down in the
volume list.
When you find the changes, either:
• Click Apply to apply the changes to the array.
• Click Cancel to discard the changes.
