NOTE:

Processes marked with the

icon can be manually started, and processes marked with

the

icon are not allowed to be manually started.

When you nullify a process, if the process has no process instance created, the system
deletes the process directly. If the process has an unfinished process instance, the system
does not delete the process but gives you a corresponding prompt. If the process has
process instances and all its process instances are finished, the system does not delete
the process but sets the process to the nullified state, so that you can still view the process’
process instances when displaying finished process instances. If the process has been
configured as a child process of another process, you must remove the parent-child
relations between them first.

Typically, a process only has two tabs, Basic Information and Email. The Countersign or
Child Process tab is available only when you have selected Yes for Countersign Task or
Enable Child Process for a task when designing the process.

If a step of a process must be performed by the user who creates it but the user has been
deleted, you can reassign a handler to the next step of the process, so that the process
can proceed.
