1. Double-click the “Aastra-DeTeWe\IpPhoneConfigurator.jar” file.
The “IP Phone Configurator” dialog opens. Select the desired language setting
(“English” or “German”)from the drop-down menu.
2. Enter the network address of the VoIP system telephone. You have two con-
nection types to choose from under Connection to IP Phone:
– Deactivate the IP Phone address option to establish a broadcast connection
via “UDP-Broadcast”. You have to select this type of connection if the VoIP
system telephone has not yet been assigned an IP address. IP broadcasts
cannot be transmitted via router. The VoIP system telephone thus has to be
directly connected to your PC via a hub or via a switch.
– Activate the IP Phone address option to establish a point-to-point con-
nection via “UDP-Unicast”. Enter the IP address of the VoIP system telephone
into the entry field. You can select this type of connection if the VoIP system tel-
ephone has already been assigned an IP address.
