With Pocket Excel you can:
! Create new spreadsheets on your device or you can
copy spreadsheets from your PC to your device.
! Synchronize spreadsheets between your PC and your
device so that you have the most up-to-date content in
both locations.
To open Excel:
! Tap , P Prro og grra am ms s, then P Po oc ck ke ett E Ex xc ce ell .
Excel will open to the Pocket Excel file list.

! In the Pocket Excel file list, tap N Ne ew w.
A blank spreadsheet appears. Or, if you've selected a
template for new spreadsheets in the Options dialog
box, that template appears with appropriate text and
formatting already provided.
You can save a workbook you create or edit it in a
variety of formats, including:
! Pocket Excel (.pxl)
! Excel (.xls)
Pocket Excel provides fundamental spreadsheet tools,
such as formulas, functions, sorting, and filtering, in its
toolbar. You can show and hide this toolbar by tapping
the S Sh ho ow w//H Hiid de e T To oo ollb ba arr icon on the command bar.

In drawing mode, use your stylus to draw on the screen.
Gridlines appear as a guide. When you lift your stylus off
the screen after the first stroke, you'll see a drawing box
indicating the boundaries of the drawing. Every
subsequent stroke within or touching the drawing box
becomes part of the drawing.
Recording Mode
In recording mode, you can embed a recording into your
document. Recordings are saved as .wav files. For more
information on recording, see page 83.
Resize an object
by dragging the
selection handles.
Select S Sh ha ap pe e on the
pop-up menu to
convert objects to
their proper shapes.
Pen button
Tap an arrow to see more choices.
