Transmit: Narrow Band or Frequency Hopping

If you touch Transmit [T] on the Diagnostic Tools screen or press “T” on the keyboard, you will
see one of the following transmit screens depending whether you are in narrow band mode or
frequency hopping mode.

Narrow Band

Frequency Hopping

If you see the above screen—which does not have a Channel button—you are in the Narrow
Band mode and may begin the transmitting process described on pages 18 and 19.

Note: The Channel button will only be visible on the Transmit screen if you are in the frequency
hopping mode.

If you see the above screen with the Channel [C] button, you will need to select a frequency.

Press the Channel button or touch “C” on the keyboard and the following screen will appear:

The default frequency is 914.45. If you encounter interference using it, try a different frequency
by touching /\ [U] or pressing “U” on the key-board to move one step up the list or touch \/ [D] or
press “D” on the keyboard to move one step down. Press Done [Enter] and you will go to the
first screen on page 18.
