Measurement of Sound
Data
All sound data quoted has been measured in the third-octave band limited values, using
a Real Time Analyser calibrated sound intensity meter in accordance with
BS EN ISO9614 Part 1 : 1995. The Global sound data quoted is valid for sound
emitted in the horizontal plane in all directions
All Sound Power Levels quoted are calculated from measured sound intensity according
to BS EN ISO9614 Part 1 : 1995.
Sound Pressure Levels are calculated from sound power using the expanded
parallelepiped method according to BS EN ISO11203 : 1996.

The Sound Pressure data quoted is only valid in free field conditions, where the unit is installed on a reflective base. If the equipment is
placed adjacent to a reflective wall, values may vary to those stated, typically increasing by 3dB for each side added.
