Directions
1.
Disconnect all electrical power to the Alert Alarm
controller.
2.
Unscrew front cover fastening screws. Open the
front cover of the Alert Alarm controller.
3.
Unplug the 4-pin connector (A) from the electronics
board located on inside of front cover.
4.
Carefully cut the ribbon tie (B) holding the wires to
the front cover. CAUTION! Do not cut the
wires while cutting the ribbon tie.
5. Locate the four terminals (C) on the rear of the power
switch located on the inside front cover. There is a black
wire & a red wire that attach to the fuse holders. There is a
black wire that attaches to the 4-pin plug. There is a black
wire that attaches to the transformer. These wires are
numbered as 1,2,3,4 in the diagram below. Note and tag
each of these wires with the corresponding number.
6. After tagging the wires (C) to the power switch, unplug
the four wires from the terminals.
7. Grasp the bent end of the metal hinge pin (D) that holds
the front cover. Slide the pin out of the hinges. Remove
the front cover. Continued On Back
