Construct a framed opening 36” wide and
24” high in the pump-out lid or vertical opening. See
the Framing Diagram in Figure 2. The PTC may be
mounted to either concrete or wood, however, if the
pump-out lid or vertical opening is concrete, it is
recommended to frame a double treated 2 x 4 sill
around the concrete opening. When mounting to
concrete use ¼ x1¼ hx SS Screws (1004-6024).
When mounting to wood use 3/8x1.25 hx SS Screws
(1004-0045). See Figure 3.
Assemble the Transition Bottom using #14x½ Screws (1004-9046). First, attach
the Right Bottom Panel and Left Bottom Panel to the Wall Bracket. Then attach the Front
Bottom Panel to the Left and Right Bottom Panels to complete assembly of the Transition
Bottom. See Figure 4.
