2 x 4 Framing
Apply caulk around FPT
Flange and secure the FPT to the
framing using (8) #14 x 1.25” screws
(1004-5000). See Figure 4.
The fan should be installed according to the
instructions and should be wired in accordance with
National, State and Local electrical codes. Disconnect
electrical power at the main service panel. When wiring
fan, allow extra cord for fan removal and maintenance.
Installation complete.
Construct a framed opening of 32” x 32” in the pump-out
lid or horizontal opening. See the Framing Diagram in Figure 2. If
the pump-out lid or horizontal opening is concrete, it is
recommended to frame a double treated 2 x 4 sill around the
concrete opening. See Figure 3.
