1. Drain oil from gear hous-
ing by removing (item
#48)plug from bottom of
gear housing. Remove
plug (Item #47) from top
of gear housing. Remove
adapter rod (item #38)
by driving pin (item #49)
from shifter shaft of
winch. Remove mounting
frame (item #1) from
winch by removing hard-
ware shown.
2. Remove clutch housing (item #14) and
clutch (item #6) from winch assembly.
Remove two keys (item #43) from key-
ways. A screwdriver can be used, at
notch, to aid in the removal of keys.
Once keys have been removed, drum
(item #10) and thrust washer (item
#62) can be removed from drum shaft.
