Disinfecting/Shower Unit
This floor mounted unit combines the ability to provide
tempered water through a shower hose for an
invigorating shower, fill the whirlpool through a fill valve
or to automatically mix disinfectant with water through a
washout hose for fast, easy cleaning and disinfecting of
the whirlpool.
Console with Pedestal is fabricated from heavy
gauge stainless steel, has a removable top and is pol-
ished to a satin finish. The pedestal requires wall anchor-
ing. A front access panel to the disinfectant is provided
and fitted with a quarter-turn T-handle. A one gallon dis-
infectant, chemical resistant, polyethylene reservoir is
provided.
Valves provided are:
1. 1/4 turn volume fill valve with lever handle.
2. 1/4 turn single temperature Flo-Cloz disinfectant
sprayer valve with stop.
3. 1/4 turn single temperature Flo-Cloz patient
shower valve.
4. Thermostatic mixing valve with integral stops and a
choice of various flow rates.
Patient Shower Head with five feet of hose
(“Flexshower”) is provided.
Disinfectant Sprayer with five feet of hose and color
coded for easy I.D. is provided for disinfecting.
Digital Thermometer is provided for constant moni-
toring of the water temperature.
Needle Valve Meter is provided with “Gallons per
Hour” gradient marks for monitoring the disinfectant
flow.
Piping is type “L” copper tubing with polyethylene,
copper and/or brass fittings. Piping is hydrostatically
factory tested at 150 PSI.
GUIDE SPECIFICATIONS
Provide and install a Whitehall Shower/Disinfectant
Mixing Unit (specify model number and options).
Console shall be fabricated from heavy gauge, stainless
steel polished to a satin finish and provided with an
access panel, a chemical resistant, one gallon
polyethylene disinfectant reservoir and an access panel
with a 1/4 turn T-handle. Valving shall be a 1/4 turn
volume fill valve with lever handle, 1/4 turn single
temperature Flo-Cloz patient shower valve and
thermostatic mixing valve with integral stops and a
choice of various flow rates. One flex shower and one
disinfectant sprayer are provided. A solar-powered digi-
tal thermometer and a needle valve meter with GPH gra-
dient marks shall be provided.
