5. With the brackets securely fastened to the oscilloscope, install the entire unit into a rack following
manufacturer specifications.
A minimum of two fasteners per side is required. There are two additional fastener locations pro-
vided in each of the brackets. Using four fasteners per side is recommended for maximum security.
CAUTION. Due to the weight of the oscilloscope, transporting the oscilloscope while
mounted in a rack is not recommended. The instrument should always be removed from the
rack and packed for transit in the required Teledyne LeCroy shipping materials.
